Social design can be understood as the result of our social actions and the possibility to shape the reality around us. It is the application of the design process to society with the goal to enable sustainability.
Currently there is no unified definition of social design, therefore, we launched SocialDesignSite to facilitate free exploration and open discussion in this field.
SocialDesignSite aims to bring projects from all around the globe together in order to foster a discourse on social design on a broader level.
We want to create an atmosphere of responsibility and inspiration through showcasing social design initiatives, hence generating value for the social design community. We seek to provide a multidimensional perspective on social design through building a community where people can network, create knowledge, and make social design a way of bringing social change.
