There are only a few city names which have that welcoming adventurous flavour to it like Beirut and Damascus. In their particular attraction they puzzle the non-Arabic mind. It felt like an obligation for SEgroup go there and explore politics and culture in the familiar down to earth way of Systemic Inquiry. So we conducted a set of in depth interviews with experts on the today’s Arabic culture. It gave a good perspective on promising possibilities and developments in the region.
