Cross-cultural co-creation relates directly to the way in which teams and organisations manage their day-to-day work in a complex and global world. It leads to the question of what is needed to deal with complexity and to lead teams and organisations where people from diverse nationalities, different professional backgrounds, different ages and genders come together to shape their common world.

As we live in a contingent world, where everything that is could also be different, cross-cultural co-creation tries to increase the awareness of the possibilities to shape our social practice. When individuals, teams and organisations describe and reflect on their own practices, values and rules, new social techniques can be negotiated. This is what we also call Social Design and what leads us to excelling teams and organisations.
