Corporate Consulting is a broader research project on in-house consulting exploring the conditions and benefits of organisations consulting themselves. There is always the need of organisations to learn about themselves. It is about the negotiations of paradigmatic capabilities for change. There are various perspectives of organisational self-observation. So is Finance, HR, Controlling and Quality Management, to name but a few. They became institutionalised now being established functions of the organisation. Others are following mostly in the form of in-house consulting unit which introduce a new needed perspective of self-observation. So are e.g. change management and organisational development. Corporate Consulting deals with the perils and pitfalls of in-house consulting and opens new perspectives on what benefits are there worth while to venture in-house consulting.
